Bamboo House

Great little family owned Japanese and Thai restaurant in very pretty French town. A perfect drive on a good day. Loved the flavorful coconut chicken soup and the dynamite ???? that we ordered as appetizers. Ordered a dinner box with Shumai, California roll, beef negamaki , shrimp teriyaki and were quite pleased with the quantity, presentation, and flavors. Hot tea was nice and light too. My husband and I had a nice relaxing time.

This sushi is the best around! The rolls are pretty big and always delicious! I've dined here about 3 times recently, it's a little cold in there so make sure to have a sweater handy. The wait time is short and fair, and the interior is nice and comfortable. I especially love their pistachio ice cream for dessert!

Tight portions but yes, delicious. Way too freaking crowded at the rush, reservations suggested but good luck with adherence to strict times at the rush. They need a bigger space and don't seem to be headed in that direction.
A beloved feature and anchor to the village!

This is my favorite restaurant, period. So superior to any Thai restaurant in the area, and just as good if not better than anything in the city. Can’t say it enough, if you’re debating trying a different place for Thai food, you’re making a huge mistake! Bamboo House is so damn good, and great prices too.

Decent selection of rolls. Prices were roughly the same as the other places. Sushi did appear and taste fresh. Rolls were slightly smaller than other places I've been but adequate. I wouldn't make this my favorite sushi spot, but it is close to home. So it's good for something close. Inside is small and very loud.
