The Famous River Hot Dog Man

We get together with friends and go kyacking every year. I love the fact that you're in the water and getting something to eat.

A floating barge of burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, chips and soft drinks, on an island in the middle of the Delaware river! Follow the signs to not miss it. Super cool spot. Would be even better if they served alcohol, but I probably understand why they can’t. Music playing. And picnic tables in the water. Perfect pit stop while tubing, kayaking or rafting down the river!

Tubing was AWESOME. One of the most fun things I've done in awhile.

Why 3 stars? The food was just really really awful. If you can put a kitchen on a float, then you can make good food in it. It wasn't that busy, yet they handed our food to us and it wasn't even hot. Did they not cook it long enough? I'll never know.

I buy cheap burgers and hot dogs too, and if you cook them all the way, they're not so lousy. These were lousy.

The people that work here are super friendly. There are few things that are better than getting off a river in full sunlight and getting a snack here. I would probably never get food here in daily life, but I know exactly what I'm getting and it's really enjoyable in the heat of Summer.

Once a year our family floats lazily down the Delaware courtesy of Delaware River Tubing. Spent our Saturday laughing our way down the river. Had so much fun! And what's a day on the river without the spot my kids most look forward to... Food. Never disappointed and always a laugh because one of us always drops something. We all had a great time and will, of course, be back to do it all again next year!
