Starving Artist Cafe

The warmest welcome I have received at any restaurant! Had a great lunch and came back the same night for a sublime jazz performance. Artists and anybody else will enjoy their visit here.

This is a friendly and welcoming place in historic Stockton! Thin crust pizzas had fresh ingredients and crisp crust. The salad and the meatball Parm were delicious. We were welcomed to come back and listen to live music in the evening. Artists, music lovers, bikers, tourists: don't miss this small business gem!

Great place for a variety of food. I am a cyclist, and they have low carb, to hi carb options. The workers are real nice. Big family vibe.

Great local vibe and delicious, freshly made food. My meatballs were obviously made there and were light with great Italian seasoning. The sauce, made on site, was not overcooked or acid, but was tomato sweet. My spouse's vegetable dish surprised us with the generous amount and was complex and nicely grilled. You have to try the octopus fries, fun and quite tasty. There is live music on the weekends.

This is a great place to eat. All the food is freshly made and delicious. Prices are reasonable and servings are decent sizes. There is something for everyone. Service is friendly and Todd the owner goes out if his way to please the customers. There is takeout and outside seating. We will definitely be back.
