I give this place 5 stars because the food portions for the price you pay can't be beat in the area. The flavor of the food for Guatemalan/Mexican food standards is good, (biased to my mom's cooking) and in a convenient casual setting. I usually get take out and it takes about 10-15 min for food to be ready. I ate in once and was pleased with service. Waitresses speak English so don't be intimidated to come in and try the food because of a language barrier. I ordered a steak and eggs combo and it was big piece of meat. Rice is okay but I did enjoy the beans and plantains. They also give you chips and salsa while you wait which was tasty. I would recommend if you don't want to cook get take out or do delivery.

The place was very full, but that’s expected since they recently opened. Took the waiter a while to notice we were there. The music choice was very ehh, not personally my type and made me feel kinda weird, (my dad felt stressed). It got very annoying after 5 minutes, of course it could just be the cultural difference. We ordered horchatas to drink, I personally think it tasted like goldfish, but my dad thinks it’s just the overwhelming amount of cinnamon. The chips they give you while waiting for the meal were pretty good. Tasted freshly made (hoping it’s always like that) the bean paste and hot sauce served with it are quite good too. My dad ordered a Bandeja Mixta, all he has to say is a head nod and a ????”rico”, he would eat again. I order Milanesa de Pollo, tasted more “authentic”, as though actual bread was used. The fries taste store bought, (they taste like the ones from great value); the rice was cold and eh. Not bad but not great either. For some reason the salad tasted off, not sure why. An additional comment, the tortillas were good, I didn’t try it though. The workers were a bit disorganized when asking for the check, the one who we paid a had more or less a bad attitude as if they didn’t want to be there. Lastly they were lacking in napkins.
