My personal forite of the 30 or so pizza options in the small area of Ewing. Their tomato pie is incredible and service has always been spectacular. Their deal on Saturday nights is unbeatable.
Really good food! Unfortunately must sit for wait service. No quick eat and go.
Love their pizza. I believe the owners work there. They are always pleasant and welcoming.
I’ve been going to Salerno’s (and previously Palermos) for 12 years. Their tomato pie is the absolute best.
However, today I had the strangest experience dining in. The server asked my friend if she wanted a drink upon seating us, but not me. My friend couldn’t believe it. We ordered a salad each and a slice of tomato pie each (our usual). When the slices came out, there was only one slice of tomato pie which was cut into three pieces. There was also a small slice of another pie that we didn’t order. The server told us there was no more tomato pie...at 4:15pm and that Antonio wasn’t going to make anymore for one slice. Really? At 4:15, the tomato pie place isn’t making any more? It was so bizarre, we thought he was joking. And they never even asked if we wanted something else before bringing it...and they charged us for it! My friend and I chatted as we ate and the servers tried to take my plate twice. It was the weirdest dining experience. I wish this place was the same as it was years ago. The tomato pie is still the best, but I can’t believe we were treated that way. Loyal customers, apparently it doesn’t matter.
Good pizza, fast delivery. My boyfriend unfortunately ordered small late at night since I was sick and they were pretty friendly about it. Best pizza in the area! (Sorry we make you climb 3 flights of stairs to get to us)
