Really enjoyed the food.
I had moist brisket, cheese sausage, green beans, greens and carrot cake. The brisket was nicely smoked and nicely seasoned. The greens were delicious. The green beans were cooked more than I like but were super flavorful. The cornbread was fantastic. The carrot cake was good. I'll skip the cheese sausage next time. It was good but I can't wait to try the turkey and lean brisket.
A diner in my party really enjoyed the brisket sandwich. It was huge and he finished first because it was so good.
Make sure to try all the sauces!
Be back again soon.
The chicken always seems undercooked. On several occasions, I bit into a sandwich only to find an alarmingly pink center. For this reason I don't think that I'll eat here again any time soon. I'm not playing that game with chicken, especially chicken this expensive.
They do a good job of checking to ensure order accuracy. Many of the cashiers are friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, I'm just not that person who will take a chance on pink chicken. Tender is one thing, potentially undercooked is another. You can find images amongst previous reviews that demonstrate my point. Be careful out here!
Excellent BBQ! The smoke turkey is just incredible, nothing like you've ever tasted! There smoke is just right and doesn't overpower the meats. Packed most of the time but service is fast, very friendly and done right! Corn bread is tasty and the cheesy potatoes are really good! Won't be disappointed
Extremely friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere. We went on a Sunday evening, even though there was a line it moved quickly. I had a pulled pork sandwich with Cole slaw, and my boyfriend got the pulled pork and brisket combo with Mac and cheese. We added the extra cup that donates to local first responders. Everything was excellent. I love the choices of sauces to put on your meat right at your table. We tried all six of them. I still can't decide which is my favorite! It's definitely worth the trip!
The BBQ is some of the best in the area. Ordered the ‘moist’ brisket and #41 sausage meat platter. The meat was tender and amazing with the Texas sauce. Mac n cheese and French fries were outstanding. The cornbread has savory and has a slight sweet taste. It tastes like southern barbecue.
Only feedback is make the meat portions a little bigger.
