One of the better places to eat in MarketFair. I highly recommend the Brunch Burger (and definitely Crunchify it) or trying one of their milkshakes. Really simple burgers but all very tasty.
I give 3 and not 2 stars, because the servers are all very friendly and the milkshakes are pretty good. But nothing else matches their quality of service and delicious milkshakes.
The floors are dirty and sticky all the time. The onion rings are very oily and the veggie burger is unseasoned. It is bland. The only things that made my meal pleasant were the good servers and variety of sauces. The onion rings (~$5) and burger (~$11) are not worth their prices.
I liked Bobby's Burger Palace, and it might have even reached a five star rating except for a few small points. The first one is simple: don't get the onion rings. There simply aren't enough of them to justify the cost. We got a grand total of four onion rings for $3.95. They were large, sure, but not huge, and you get a lot more from an order of fries.
Additionally, you really need to watch costs. It's really easy to push your bill up quickly. 2 burgers one with bacon and a double patty, 2 sides (the aforementioned onion rings and fries with cheese, bacon and chives), 2 drinks and a shake racked up to $50. $50! Good lord, I've had burgers just as good with similar sides, drinks and two shakes for less.
If you are craving for a freshly made, tasty & juicy burger, or perhaps just looking for something a bit better than those listed on the menus of global fast-food chains, then Bobby’s Burger Palace is the place you might want to give it a try. I have tasted four different burgers on the menu (Dallas, L.A., Philly & Palace Classic), cooked medium or medium rare, and the quality has been consistent. Topped with caramelized onions, spicy peppers, and Provolone to create a balanced flavor, the Philly Burger definitely is my favorite. Located next to the Marketfair movie theater, it’s a convenient place to grab a quick bite before the movie.
