Highly recommend. Excellent, authentic sashimi and sushi. Unique offerings – more than just your typical sushi spot with sauce-covered rolls. Friendly staff. Great aesthetic in new building.

Had a fantastic meal here with two co-workers. We ordered a few sushi rolls and I had the chirashi bowl. The fish was super fresh and the rice was prepared excellently. It has a very modern aesthetic and beautiful kitchen.

My husband and I ended up at Elite Five by default after trying to get a table at the Meeting House (in the building shared with EF) and deciding we did not want to wait half an hour. Fate turned us in the right direction. The Elite Five ambiance is calmer and lighter -- much more pleasant for conversation. The food was delicious. I had seared scallops with Thai sweet chili and creamy corn sauce -- a perfect combination of flavors. My husband had oxtail, which he enjoyed.
We sat along the side overlooking Avalon Bay. That section is the bulk of the seating. It's is simply decorated with a nice mix of materials. There is a small section that looks out at the garage, so not as nice a view. There is also a beverage counter for the servers in the back of that section, which makes it seem like a fast food restaurant. They need to screen the beverage area or move it into the kitchen.
I must follow a gluten-free diet so asked about the dishes I was ordering. When the food was served, the chef came out to explain what was on my plate and assured me it was all gluten-free.
It is a BYOB restaurant, so that helps keep the final tab down a bit. A really great addition to Princeton's dining options.

BYOB with generous portions. They actually offer a variety of dishes, perhaps more fusion dishes then Japanese. We got the Five O' Tail (ox tail) and King of the Ocean (salmon) for our entree. The food is pretty decent, and we definitely plan to come back again!

The reason I am giving it 4 stars is that the service could use improvement. I asked for a fork, but the waiter seemingly forgot about it. (I do believe that they are understaffed; the owner was making sushi at the counter at one point). The mashed potato that came with the ox tail was cold. Obviously, the restaurant has only opened for a few days, so there are inevitably kinks that need to be worked out. I am hopeful that the next time I come back, I can update the rating to 5 stars.

This is my first time here and I absolutely enjoyed everything this place has to offer. Tony, the owner, is very friendly and welcoming alongside with the staff. Every dish is served fresh to order and the presentation truly delights your five senses. Also, being BYOB is definitely a plus with the calming atmosphere they have to offer. I will most definitely come visit again !
