La Cabaña Tica "The Bakeshop & Restaurant"

Very nice atmosphere, the staff is fantastic! The food is amazing, I ordered El Abanico, biggest chuleta (pork chop) I've ever seen and delicious!

Four of us went for lunch this week after reading the recent Trenton Times restaurant review. The space is pleasant and the service outstanding. Our server Noemi, enthusiastically answered all our questions and gave us outstanding service from start to finish. Everything from the tamales, to the enormous bowl of Olla 'e carne y Verduras (beef rib soup with vegetables), arroz con camarones (yellow rice, shrimp and spices), Casado platter (authentic Costa Rican dish with your choice of protein served with rice, beans, fried egg, sweet plantains, avocado and salad) Tacos Ticos and more was filling and delicious. We couldn't find room for dessert, but were given a generous serving of the bread pudding to sample. On the way out I saw that there were pastry horns filled with guava. I couldn't pass those up and ordered two to take home.
Give this place a try for great food and friendly service!

This a little hidden Gem that needs to be visited! Don't let the outside fool you, because you will be passing on a wonderful place with great authentic Puerto Rican food and don't get me started on their yummy pastries!!! You have to give them a try!! Oh and have a cup of their delicious home made hot chocolate!!!

Me and my mom came here for lunch and i gotta say it was pretty amazing! I got the chifrijo and my mom got the abanico. Both were well done, the pork was crispy and well seasoned, and the ingredients were fresh! It was so good and filling we ended up taking it home. Were defenitely going to come and order from here again.

Lunch!!!! Guys If you haven’t tried La Cabaña Tica yet DO IT!!! So so good! Steak,mashed potatoes, n veggies and a cafe mocha for only $13!!! And a pineapple cheesecake for dessert (under $3). Everything is delicious and absolutely wonderful owners. #supporttrentonbusinesses
