Broad Street Diner

Good food and large portion for a good price. Standard diner fare. Service was average keeping this from closer to five star. Solid four star.

Good food, ample portions, great service. Breakfast can't be beat. Someone always around offering coffee refills and checking to see if everything is all right. Never been disappointed.

They advertise their 'Famous Fish & Chips' for Wednesdays and Fridays on the marquee in front. I haven't had even decent fish & chips since coming to NJ. So I finally gave it a try. It was delicious.

They even gave me malt vinegar when I asked for vinegar. So they know what kind to use for this dish.

The side salad was pretty generic. But the veggies were fresh and lettuce was crisp. The meal also came with dessert and a cup of soup.

Soup of the day included a delicious New England clam chowder that actually had clam meat in it and made me wish I had asked if I could have upgraded to a bowl.

The service was excellent. I had no room for the dessert. But my waitress convinced me to take it with me. LOL

It's an older place that's been well maintained. It seems smaller inside than I thought it would be. But it's nice. The prices are very reasonable.

I'm definitely going back. I'm looking forward to trying some of the other specials....and, of course fish and chips.

Perfect diner food. The coffee was piping hot and fresh cup after cup. Breakfast was quick, hot and delicious with generous portions. The staff was attentive and courteous. I highly recommend this place.

I am from out of town , though whenever I come to the area I always make a point to stop at the broad street diner. The food is always satisfying and the prices right. And the servers are always eager to help. I don't have anything bad to say about this place.
