As 2020 was coming to an end, my husband and I had dinner at David Burke's new restaurant Orchard Park located in the Chateau Grand Hotel in East Brunswick, NJ. One word describes this new venue...IMPRESSIVE!! From our approach to the hotel, to the main lobby, to the restaurant itself you can see the attention to detail and the love that was put into this new venue. It is truly AMAZING!! The food was fabulous, the service was warm and attentive, and we even got to chat with David Burke during our meal. Can't wait for our next visit to sample some different apps, entrees and desserts from his unique menu!! Bravo Chef!
Had a wonderful dinner here on New Year’s Eve. Excellent food (appropriately priced) and great service. Chef David Burke was present, walking around and talking to customers, and even mixed the dessert sauces at our table for our daughter! The hotel at which the restaurant is located is beautiful and decorated nicely for the holidays. The Land & Sea appetizer is delicious, as was the Scallops & Octopus entree. The NY Strip steak aged with Chef Burke’s patented Himalayan salt aging process is worth every penny. And the sugared donut and macaroon dessert with assorted sauces was a perfect ending to a wonderful meal. So nice to have a high end restaurant in this area for a special occasion or just a nice night out. Highly recommended.
So looking forward to this establishment opening in East Brunswick and it was the perfect place to celebrate the end of a pretty awful year and a toast to a hopefully better one.
The food was excellent. I’m always hesitant when ordering high end, thick cut bacon but it was amazing. Even the non bacon eater at the table tried it and loved it.
The steaks were superb. Cooked to order with just the right amount of char. The lobster was ok but it’s lobster, how much can you do with it?
The desserts were unbelievable. Do not skip ordering them.
Service was excellent. Our server, Brian, was attentive but not overbearing. Exactly how it should be.
The only small criticism I have is that I don’t think there should have been a charge for the bread. Sure, build it into the price of the meal, but it just bothers me when, especially high end restaurants do this.
This is a perfect place to celebrate special occasions and it was a very enjoyable, memorable evening.
My husband and I visited last night. I can’t remember my server’s name but he was absolutely amazing. He was attentive and punctual.
My husband and I are big foodies & frequent high end restaurants, I must say this felt more like an experience. The pretzel crab cake was amazing...literally no complaints. The ribeye & salmon were just fine. Now as for DESSERT, we shared the Tin cake....there were no words. If you like chocolate I highly recommend.
We also tried a cocktail that my husband loved.
The staff really went above & beyond. David Burke greeted us as well which was nice.
As much as I’d like to come everyday , It truly was an experience that should be for special occasions.
We already scheduled for Valentine’s Day!
My wife is a big fan of Chef Burke, we have been to his other Restaurants many times. To have one within 15 minutes of our home is exciting! The Ambience, Service and Food were Amazing! Our server Brittany was Fantastic! She was really nice and friendly & had some Great drink and food recommendations! Chef Burke is very lucky to have a Server like her within his ranks.
As usual, the Pretzel Crab Cake was EXCELLENT! A true must order every time!
I had the Aged Bone In Ribeye, it was cooked beautifully! Perfectly seasoned and flavorful, the steak cut like butter, I could not stop eating it. My wife ordered the Duck which was excellent, truly bursting with tons of flavor. We than had the tiny dancer chocolate cake for dessert, which was visually stunning on the plate & just as delicious.
We can't wait to come back again for dinner!
