The pizza at Gerlanda's is the best you'll possibly get at Rutgers. The one on College Ave is a lot better than the one Busch Campus Center. The crust is crisp on College Ave and soggy on Busch Campus Center.

Gerlanda's is honestly my favorite place to grab food on College Ave. The staff there is always so nice and they notice when you are a regular customer. All of the food I have tried there was really good and well-priced. If you are in the area, I seriously recommend the chicken parm pizza, its the best! They also have such a good bakery and their pastries are always fresh. Plus, they have hot chocolate that is WAY better than Dunkin or Starbucks in my opinion.
Coffee that's better than Starbucks, and real NY style pizza. Customer service has always been excellent as well :)
I've been coming to Gerlanda's for 3 years and have always been extremely satisfied with both the pizza and the coffee. It is by far the best place to get coffee on campus. They get their coffee from a roaster in New Jersey and it's always super fresh. They have great speciality drinks that, in my opinion, are much better than Starbucks in value and price. Their pizza is very good and better than other places off campus (the option of the whole wheat crust is great!) The staff is incredibly personable and professional. It's most definitely a little gem at Rutgers!
