“The food is great from what I have tried, the sauces could be thicker or put on the side, they taste really good but the sauces pool to the bottom of the container before you can sit down to eat it. I am sure it plays out better in a eat in or home cooking environment but given that it seems to be takeout only less so. Their website is a mess, you can't place a pickup order online unless it's more than $20, additionally I suspect that they updated their prices, still seems to be decent but a posted notice that menu prices are inaccurate or better yet a basic printed price list would not be remiss, inflation is a harsh reality these days, however transparency should stick around”

“Glad this place opened up. Great place to get halal steak close by. Pretty diverse menu. We got the rib eye steak and fried chicken. Rib eye steak was juicy and tasty. Cooked to order. Fries were crispy. Fried chicken could use more flavor and spice. Service is excellent. Overall would recommend!”

“This place just opened but it is D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S! The sushi burrito was yummy. The fish was very fresh and so were the veggies. The dan dan noodles and boba tea were also great. Although I miss Thai Noodles, Scarlet Bowls is an amazing replacement. So happy we have good Asian fusion food so close to campus.”

“Went to the Rutgers Art Museum and ended up at Kalanit’s for a late (2pm) breakfast. My wife had the special breakfast platter while I had the Rancheros omelette. Both dishes were absolutely gorgeous. Fresh veg and fruit. Excellent service and very good value for money. Even the freshly ground coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice were heavenly.”

“It was SO good and it's so cute here! The atmosphere is chill and cozy. It's BYOB and there is street parking or pay for parking nearby. I went with a few friends and it was a great time. Definitely recommend!! It was just expensive, a little hard to get a hold of our waiters and the tea was pretty expensive, parking too! Fried scallops were amazing, we tried so many things and every single one was amazing the rock shrimp too is a must try. Will come back!”

“My wife and I ordered a few menu items to go on their opening day. We tried the fried pork and chive dumplings, which were well seasoned, crispy and not greasy. They came with a great sauce as well. We also ordered the pork buns, the meat melted in your mouth and was incredible. The buns were soft and fresh. The pork soup dumplings were very well done, the dough was thin and the filling was delicious. To top it off we had the spicy beef noodles. The seasoning and flavor of the broth rivals some of the best ramen I've had all over the country. It was spicy but the spice didn't take away from the dish at all. The beef was incredibly tender, the vegetables fresh and crisp and the noodles were divine. For the price, freshness, amount of food and flavor I would highly recommend giving this place a try. I know my family will be back to try more dishes and reorder some favorites. I wish the restaurant and it's staff good luck and best wishes.”
