“This is a good local Quick Check store that is within a close driving range to the MetroPark train station. This Quick Check is one of the few stores that I know of that contain tables inside where you may sit down to enjoy your meal on case you show up a little too early for your train. “We go there every week for warm, fresh rotis that are ready to eat. Grocery store ready-to-eat rotis are invariably stuck together. Freezer aisle ready-to-cook rotis are too calorie-rich. It was wonderful when we discovered Rotikaa and have been going there ever since. One issue we had in the beginning was condensation whenever we stored it in the fridge. The packages have warm, slightly steamy rotis that are perfect for immediate consumption, but the downside of putting those in sealed plastic bags is that when you store them in the fridge, any steam turns into water and creates soggy, discolored patches on the rotis. We solved this problem by opening the package, inserting a paper towel at the top and bottom of the stack of rotis, sealing the package again, and then storing it in the fridge. Change the paper towels at least once a week (we usually consume them before that anyway). We've never had condensation forming on our rotis ever since. Another tip is that whenever you need to only use some of the rotis, extract them from the package with the package still in the fridge and then seal it again. Don't take the entire package out of the fridge each time. Every time you take dry foods out of the fridge, tiny drops of condensation from the air in your kitchen forms on them. So it's a good idea to only take out the exact amounts that you'll be using right away. This applies to all dry foods and produce, not just Rotikaa rotis. Rotis are just more vulnerable because you need to store them in sealed bags so they don't get too dry. I think Rotikaa should incorporate moisture absorbents in their packages, or improve the packaging in some other way that solves the condensation issue. I'm also not thrilled with the idea of warm rotis that are stored in direct contact with polyethylene bags. Regardless of any of the above though, we love this place and highly recommend it.”

“I absolutely love this place. I am a sushi lover and have been a faithful weekly customer for many years. Great place for lunch and dinner. The sushi chefs are always happy to make your food and they do it with art and love. They also give out small pieces of sushi for you to try while you’re waiting, which is thoughtful and let’s you experience other things on their menu. The staff is friendly and attentive. The price is reasonable. I dislike the small tables because I do order a lot of food :) other than that, I highly recommend this place.”

“We went here to use t-mobile tuesday deal(unfortunately we were not able to use it per the manager since we used the 2 for 20$ deal). We had good time and food was good. The person who served the food was polite and attentive. The only issue we faced was Hostess( African-American). She was very disrespectful when we asked for booth table(that needs cleaning) with the response “do you want to sit in dirty table”( think before talking to any customer like that, you are representing TGI Fridays for God sake. No customer wants to sit on dirty table). I just have to bring this to the attention of the Manager at the end of our happy dinner.”

“Whenever I have a sweet tooth, this is my go-to place. The brownies are always fresh and soft, the flan is always perfect, the tres leches cake is my favorite and the list could go on. Also had them make a cake for my daughters first birthday it was beautiful and delicious, and all the guest enjoyed it. The staff is also very friendly which is another welcomed treat. I would recommend this place to anyone whose is looking to get a special cake for a loved one or just have a hankering for some sweets.”
