The Black Swan

My bf and I stopped in today after hearing about the opening of a new restaurant/bar in Asbury so we checked it out. Me and him BOTH agreed it was the best food we ever had… yes, really.
We ordered the baked brie, vegan potstickers, and bacon tater tots for apps. All were outstanding. Our burgers were even better and my boyfriend said “this is the best burger I have EVER had.” So not only was the ambiance gorgeous with a “old time” Irish/British Pub feel, but you can tell the chef is putting a lot of effort into the quality of food being served. We were both blown away. Don’t be afraid of the small menu, because most likely anything you get will be awesome. We will be back.

Both the meal and service exceeded expectations. We will be back.

Just visited the black swan and as a Brit with an Irish husband we were very exited to find a British/Irish inspired pub in Asbury Park! Lots of British decor and great 80’s Brit pop music playing but not an Irish flag in sight and very disappointed to find out that chef James isn’t actually British or Irish but he seemed to have a great team of staff who were attentive and I. wish him good luck with the newrestaurant - didn’t get to try the food but hope they put a scotch egg on the menu that I can try next time I’m in Asbury Park!
