The Grouper Francaise w/ Crab Meat is the best seafood meal you will have!

The good:
Great appetizers.
New England clam chowder was delicious!
Wife loved Crab Corn Chowder.

The bad:
Waited about 45 minutes from the last appetizer until entrees came out. Unfortunately the fried flounder was very dry. For $22 the fried fish should not be dry.
No one in my party was excited about their entree.

Verdict:
Very disappointed; I wanted to love this place.
Bring a bottle of wine; stick to the appetizers, soups, and salads and you will leave happy.

I know I'm probably in the minority here, but I didn't find the food as fabulous as all of the 5-star ratings. I would like to give it another try though because I ordered the soft shell crabs and in all fairness, it's at the end of the soft shell season. What I wasn't fond of was the baked yam which was burnt on the outside and a little bit on the inside, too. The green beans were on the cold side so overall it's not the best meal I've had. However, I love the atmosphere here and the menu choice is extensive. Reasonably priced and it's a BYO.

nice place for a quiet meal. bring your own bottle. food was ok, not great. scallops were not hot. rest of meal was fine. prices were reasonable.
