We came here on a beautiful sunny day. Sitting on the deck was perfect. We had 2 babies with us and it was great to have the fresh air with them and not stress about them making noise. The lobster roll is a very good size, but you definitely pay for it. That crab cake sandwich was phenomenal. Definitely the highlight of what we had. Also, the fries were very good. Lots of flavor and a perfect texture. Highly recommend.
Great spot for a casual seafood meal after the beach. Has all the classics: clam strips, steamed lobster, battered cod, shrimp, steamers and also more healthy grilled fish. The dining area is outside over looking the fishing boats. If it’s during busy times the parking can be a challenge- but if you don’t mind a few minutes walk there are options on the street. Careful of the seagulls they like french fries.
Super casual summer dinning on the river. great views of Sandy Hook. Eat outside at pick nick tables. very casual after the beach dinner.
Most foods are fried. A good selection of sea food and burgers. Bar is located in the same building, next to the ordering window. Prices are a little high, but reasonable considering this is a summer venue. Owned by Bahrs Landing next door. Also a small ice cream window for desert is at the same building. Note : Parking can be difficult during busy times.
Great place for very casual dining. Order your choice of delicious seafood at the window. Sit and enjoy the boats going through the channel and under the bridge. Great breezes. When your order is ready, your number is called and you're ready to dive in to a yummy basket of fresh seafood. Ready for dessert? The porthole at the front of the building serves up the perfect ice cream ending to a summery meal.
Food was OK. Grilled tuna could have come with more French Fries and could have been better seasoned. I dot even understand why they would think this presentation is acceptable. The “Fisherman” meal I got was not bad. The steamed lobster though was highly underwhelming. It was not worth the purchase. I would have sufficed with the shrimp, clams and fish. But considering the lobster was the highlight of the fish, overall dish was not what I expected. The French fries are so good though! The view from the deck is beautiful ????
