Nagles

The food was okay.
This place should be an asset to the town but isn't.
Two of the front end staff were slumped over mobile phones.
The kitchen / serving layout is for the convenience of the staff and looks terrible.
The housekeeping was just okay.
The owners should see what's happening elsewhere, you know this is part of the towns history and deserves better.

Incredible ice cream shop, and old apathacary shoppe. Old equipment and pictures on display. The best ice cream I've had in a long time. Simple food, but good. Just like the ice cream shops of old. Located in Ocean Grove NJ. A nice old gingerbread quiet city by the sea towns. Lot of bed and breakfasts. Beautiful boardwalk with no arcades etc to make it noisy. Nagles fits right in on the old main street. Lot of little shops and boutiques. Lot of colorful gingerbread houses. Whole town worth the trip, and Nagles great place to cap it off with great selection of old fashion ice creams.

Good place and great ice cream. Try the black raspberry blast! You won’t regret it, and will thank me later.

Reason for 4-Star: had a bad experience with one of the hosts. Overall fair prices and delicious ice cream.

We love Nagles! We always make it a point to go when we're in the OG area. Inside is adorable & old fashioned with tile floors and a soda bar and a few tables. Lots of historic/antique decor. They've recently added seasonal outdoor seating for dining. ...and there are always tables on the sidewalk to enjoy your ice cream at after ordering from their walk-up window ????????
