I travel around to different pizza shops so I heard about this one and I knew I had to try it. Drove 1 hour away and I should tell you that I don’t even regret one bit of it. “I am so glad there is a new pizza place in the mall. It was sad the old one left. This place also has a sister shop in Long Branch. I would always order a pizza from them and bring it to the beach. This place is serving breakfast as well as pizza! So no more Dunkin Donuts (gross)! They offer a limited menu, which I find great for this location. The food is pretty good and I recommend trying it.”

The key, though, is that Pete always nails the texture, mouth feel, and serving temperature. As someone that has a cat's tongue, the last bit is especially important. How many times have you ruined your dish by burning your tongue? Well, it's not happening here at Tomato & Basil. I challenge you to find a better place.
