Jefferson Diner

Simply put, all diners are not the same. Most might be, but few prepare each meal just right. Roast Beef is the prime example, we literally have to travel to this ONE diner in NY/NJ area to get it right. Their burgers are decent and the endless dessert menu is awesome.

This was the third time we ate at this diner. Based on the meal we had I would not go back. But since our other meals have been good, we probably will. The Calamari was like rubber (taken off bill) and my plate was badly cracked. The dining bathroom was out of order so one had to go through the bar to get to the other bathroom.

Good food and a huge menu. A little pricey compared to most diners nationwide. Service is practically instantaneous as soon as you sit down and they check on you every now and then in case you need something else. Wait staff is excellent.

They say they are the top rated diner in Morris County and they are not lying! Best diner burger i ever had! The waitress was super friendly! Very clean place. Very reasonable too. First time there and i will be back!

My business takes me into Sussex County several times per year. If it gets close to lunch time, I always stop at the Jefferson Diner. Their "Marilyn Mango Salad" is out of this world. On 12/26/18, I brought my wife there for lunch. She felt the same way. It was worth the trip just for salad. It was amazing.
