The Village Market

A great small, family-run business! The Village Market is a great addition to the Towaco / Montville community. The owner and employees are friendly and welcoming and go out of their way to serve customers.

The market has a wide variety of prepared foods, grab and go and deli. Of course, they are also well stocked with produce, dairy and other grocery items. Prices are very reasonable, and it’s so convenient to be able to pop in for a couple items versus a trip to the supermarket.

Great store made turkey and roast beef! And the sandwiches are excellent. Service is great, always pleasant and helpful. Everything I’ve had there is delicious.

Great food great people who work there and it's a great atmosphere

I feel bad for you guys. Very friendly staff, very good food, excellent customer service. The thing holding you back is your hours (as of recent). I want you guys to do well. Your prices are fair and you are a local family-owned small business. I know I'm not in the position to tell you how to run your business but in my opinion you guys are losing out big-time by cutting your hours back. If you go back to opening at 6 and staying open until 7, you will capture a lot of the suburban commuters who are looking for a convenient spot to stop off and grab stuff for convenience. Closing at 5 on weekdays is really killing you.
