“A great small, family-run business! The Village Market is a great addition to the Towaco / Montville community. The owner and employees are friendly and welcoming and go out of their way to serve customers. The market has a wide variety of prepared foods, grab and go and deli. Of course, they are also well stocked with produce, dairy and other grocery items. Prices are very reasonable, and it’s so convenient to be able to pop in for a couple items versus a trip to the supermarket.”

“I'm absolutely sure I don't agree with the last review. I was there tonight for dinner and drinks with a group of people. The burgers were huge and juicy. The fries were to die for. My friend had the Anita sandwich that was out of this world. I understand that it may not be the gourmet Italian restaurant, but it is a great local watering hole where you can come in have a drink and spend time with some real people. It's about time North Haledon has a place for locals to go. Also, forgot his name but the guy with the fedora was a class act. From the greeting he gave, to ensuring we felt like VIPs, to the heartfelt "hope to see you again". He's not the owner but I sure hope the owner understands this guy is truly a people pleaser. ”

“The food is very good every time. The kitchen staff does a great job and works very hard. The service gets worse every single time we go there. We were there last night and some old man waiting on a table he was the most unhappy person on earth he barely greeted us with hello he disappeared from the table and showed up 10 minutes later it took forever to order dinner he never once cracked a smile he never once asked how we were doing.. It’s a shame that the kitchen staff is so misrepresented by the front staff. There were two managers on the floor Who are completely clueless. They walked around 20 times and never asked or looked to see how we were doing. After we got our food He asked how everything was it was way too late. I would love to go back to this restaurant because the food is exceptional maybe just sit at the bar.”

“I LOVE Marra's #5 Breaded Eggplant, Mozzarella, Roasted Peppers with Balsamic glaze on the most amazing bread. I compare other Italian delis to Marra's by ordering their version, but no place compares. I have had their frozen ravioli, brocolli rave, meatballs (beef and chicken), and other sandwiches too. Good quality food reminds me of my youth in Orange.”

We had the seafood paella, 2 appetizers, 2 sangria and 2 desserts. Everything came out to $96 per couple. Good food at a great price. Nice place to go with friends often because the price is not outrageous. We will be going back”
