Spray Beach Hotel

We had a great visit last summer. Hotel was clean and met our basic needs. Very small, not much room for an extra air mattress for the kids, and the restaurant was so-so. Pool was very crowded and filled with small kids, we stuck to the beach. But walking distance to everything.

Clean, newly updated room. Helpful staff. Right on the beach, so the views are gorgeous. The bathroom was freezing (I went in winter), but once I got into a nice hot shower I didn't even feel it anymore. I'd definitely come back!

Always love visiting spray beach. It's a little pricey but it is right on the beach. Nice pool, especially for young kids and the restaurant has great food. Decent specials and a nice beach bar. Never stayed anywhere else after several great stays. **Note:First floor is not a beach view with the dunes.

The hotel itself is clean. The rooms are typical motel rooms. The bar downstairs is just fine & the food is mediocre. The real star of the show is Melissa at the front desk. She took this stay from random motel on the shore to great experience that we would happily repeat. Melissa is a local who loves her town and is quick to recommend great spots or share a story about herself and the town she so loves & lives in. Honestly I could have taken or left this place but the interaction with her made it all worth it. I hope the management appreciates what a great asset they have. The bartender was also kind. Overall, we will return because Melissa provided us with a level of hospitality that is surely unmatched in this area. We’ve stayed in 5 star hotels that don’t have the staff this place has!

Very clean friendly it has a pool and is right on the gorgeous beach. There is a restaurant and a bar The female bartender was wonderful. The ambiance is great. Long Beach Island is one of my favorite places to be
