Food here is AMAZING. As soon as we finished our order we debated going back for more.

Great BBQ! This spot runs out of Dockside Diner and boy do they know what they are doing with a smoker! Went with a party of three yesterday evening and we decided to try as much of the menu as we could. We started with both appetizers; the queso and the sliders. The queso was a cross between a dip and a salsa with some pulled pork in it....interesting and delicious! The short rib sliders were superb, however, could have used a bit more meat in them. Perfect as an appetizer for two people.

For dinner we ordered the 1lb ribs, 1/4lb brisket and 1/4lb octopus. The ribs had a fantastic dry rub on them and were smoked perfectly. This is definitely a must order. They are served with two different types of BBQ sauces on the side which were tasty, but the ribs did not need them! The brisket lacked a bit of something to us...not sure what, but just wasn't on the same level as the rest of the food. The octopus. WOW. The octopus I say again. MUST order. Splurge and spend the money for the octopus. The menu was altered a bit and the only availability was 1/2lb of octopus at the the 1lb price. WORTH IT. Smoked perfectly and then seared....the skin is crunchy and delectable and the meat is flavorful and abundant. This is my first time having octopus and will be a staple here next time.

For the sides we ordered spoon bread and baked beans. YES to both. The spoon bread is dense and delicious and the baked beans had a consistency that was thick and a cross between refried and baked but it worked!

We bothered the chef and spoke to him for a minute...really wanted to give him our compliments. He is doing a great job here! It is great to see a different type of food on the island and we wish him the best of luck cornering this market on this side of the island!

Takeaways: order both appetizers the queso and sliders; DEFINITELY order octopus and ribs, personally I would pass on the brisket and try a different plate (gonna go for the chicken next time), order baked beans and spoonbread but I plan on trying the other sides as well.
