Sand Castle Diner

We enjoy every visit to the Sand Castle ! John and his fine team do an excellent job of making us feel like family there. Special thanks to Justine, Anna and Amanda among the many wonderful servers along with Martin and Spiros who take such good care of us with every meal !!

The Sandcastle Diner is a very friendly place with really good food. The waiters and waitresses are very kind and very good at their jobs.

It's an authentic Jersey diner. The Owner (the uncle of comedian Demitri Martin) keeps the place up to date. The wait staff is phenomenal. The bus boy is the fastest I've ever seen. There is consistently a wait for this place every time I go, but I've never waited more than 5 minutes to get a seat. You get your food that fast.

If you haven't heard of this place yet that's surprising. It is the best diner around, and I will argue that all day. Cheap, fast, good food, great service, huge menu. They give out free cheesecakes on Christmas eve. It's always clean. The one problem about this place, is when it was built they didn't take into account the wind. The wind hits the doors just right that it makes it hard to open them. That is legitamately the worst thing I can say about this place.

The food and service were good and it was awesome of the owner to extend a military discount to us. B+ Would have been a 5 ⭐ if they offered it on a regular basis to all Veterans consistently. When you so much as ask if they offer it because you have received it there before you are pretty much called a liar. Overall this visit was a good time though.

They have a lot of breakfast specials, which was awesome. My breakfast was good. My server was very friendly and attentive. It was everything I expected of an established diner. Lots of regulars and very fast (even faster than usual) food delivery.
