“I love this Restaurant! Very warm Western Haberdashery themed interior, very nice attentive wait staff. Very good French Onion soup, had a salad with blue cheese, which was also good, and last but not least, The Longhorn Steak! “Stopped in here with my wife on our way down to Atlantic City. The restaurant was busy on a Thursday lunchtime. The place isn’t fancy, though the decor is playfully southwestern. There’s also a mini Jukebox.We ordered a rack of ribs, a pound of smoked brisket, smoked beans and coleslaw. Everything was exceptional. The ribs were smoked perfectly and slathered in a tasty sauce. The brisket was soft, beautifully seasoned and moist. The beans featured chunks of brisket. Enjoyable but a bit dry. The coleslaw was creamy and sweet. Best of all was the kind attention of Joseph, the owner. He stopped by our table to chat, offered us a free end cut taste of brisket and played some Jewish Geography with us. We ended up ordering a couple of burgers to go and some brisket to share with family who were we’re meeting in AC for the weekend.Worth the long drive from Long Island to Lakewood!”
