Surf Taco - Point Pleasant Beach

Fresh food ,very tasty and affordable.

Great local business. Excellent, fresh food. Great salsa bar. Sometimes I go for just an order of chips and salsa, and maybe some guacamole. Never been disappointed... Never. Love this place.

Okay so I’m doing this review on the toilet here and the bathroom smells worse than nj which I didn’t think was possible. I literally cannot eat here because the smell is so disrupting to my senses. When I sat down on the toilet it was covered in pee and there was no toilet paper. Sad face and butts I will not eat here again. Nj smells like poop

Their salsa is pretty good and everything else. Good prices.

Surf Taco is my favorite non-authentic Mexican restaurant, period. I highly recommend the fresh salsa bar as any of their salsas pair amazingly with their chips. I usually order the grilled chicken taco with just meat and cheese and instead of removing all the other ingredients and giving me two tiny pieces of chicken on a taco, they stuff the taco with meat and cheese, which is unheard of. Any Surf Taco location serves amazing food but this is the original which makes it just a little more special.

However, the parking situation is atrocious and the restaurant interior is a little cramped during peak hours. Regardless, I recommend Surf Taco to anyone with a taste for fresh Tex-Mex cuisine.
