Shore Fresh Seafood Market & Restaurant

My husband and I just moved to the area and are not yet familiar with the local restaurants. After googling Seafood near me, I choose Shore Fresh Seafood Market. We felt extremely comfortable the minute we walked in. It is self seating so we picked a table and our waitress immediately came to us with a menu. The Menu!!! AMAZING!! I wanted to order a little of everything. We ordered lobster bisque, clams casino and steamers for apps, which came out quickly. My husband ordered the seafood platter and I ordered the Grouper. Wow!!! Absolutely Amazing!! Definitely found one of my favs.

This is a consistently good place. We eat lunch here quite often. The fish tacos are superb and the sauce on the side is the way to go, to dip and pour. The French fries are worth the trip alone! The lobster bisque and the clam chowder are both great! The staff is friendly and on top of everything...all with a smile. It's a "go to" spot.The market has a wide variety of fish and the crab cakes are a must.

We ate at the restaurant and really enjoyed ourselves. We came to Point Pleasant after a weekend at Seaside Heights just to visit this place. The reasonable prices were a breath of fresh air, the seafood was fresh and delicious, and the portions were great. I had the baked flounder, which came with three good-sized pieces of fish, and my boyfriend had the lobster tail. Paper plates and plastic cutlery are the only reason it's not 5 star to me, but for the price, you can't complain. I also had oysters, yum! Next time, we'll buy some seafood from the market.

Okay Jersey Shore, I travel all over the country and if this is the best seafood at what you call reasonable prices then apparently you don’t travel very much. The food was good. But, it definitely didn’t wow me and of course everyone has an opinion. The food was just mediocre, Especially, for the price & quantity. However, the service from the wait staff was impeccable 1st class service. That’s the only reason I gave a 4 Star. Otherwise, it would have been a 3.5 for Quality & Value. I would give it another try next time I’m in town. But, I will definitely look around and try some other places a As well....
