“Amazing new Mexican restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food! As of writing this review, Spicy’s just opened up in Point Pleasant this week. It’s from the same owners of Spicy’s Cantina in Seaside. While the space is small in the restaurant (most of the building is taken up by a liquor store), Spicy’s makes the most of it with a chic bar and plenty of tables, even some outside for when it gets warm out. My party and I sat by the bar. We were taken care of by the bartender Mike, who was helpful and handled everything from our drinks to taking our orders very quickly. He spoke with us on the whole opening situation of the restaurant and was very friendly all throughout the night. The food came out very quickly, despite how crowded the restaurant. We ordered the empanadas (chicken and beef), chicken quesadilla, and chicken fajitas. Everything turned out to be excellent with no complaints. So happy this place has opened. Plan to come here very often.”

“Just ran into get some last minute ice cream on our way home from dinner. Very creative with the colors and sprinkles on the wall, toppings on display and friendly. My wife ordered the Take 5 and was delicious, and the fried ice cream that’s not really fried but tastes just like it was outstanding. Will be back to try more flavors.”

“Delicious food, friendly experience sand great prices. We have been using caldinos for their fresh mozzarella cheese at the brick farmers market for years now. We were ecstatic to hear that they opened up a store. We ordered subs for my children's birthday party from them and we're pleasantly surprised with the price and the service that we got from them. “The 80's. My mom ran the Point Pleasant 711 on Bridge Ave. that also had a small deli case for making sandwiches and a pinball machine for the kid's. This was in 1881. I worked in that store for 2 years while I was still in High School. Some of the customer's that came into the store were like friends to me. I passed my driver's test and faced all my growing pains in that store. I had fun watching all the HS girls my age also hanging out in the store.”

“When it comes to tacos they are better than bubbs and the chips are very good.. not salty.. lighting needs to be little brighter people should know they are open and they should do a buy one taco get one free coupon for new customers... they should also do a a two dollar taco Wednesday and drop the student special price to 6 dollar instead of 7.5 .. “This is a consistently good place. We eat lunch here quite often. The fish tacos are superb and the sauce on the side is the way to go, to dip and pour. The French fries are worth the trip alone! The lobster bisque and the clam chowder are both great! The staff is friendly and on top of everything...all with a smile. It's a "go to" spot.The market has a wide variety of fish and the crab cakes are a must.”

“I cannot say anything about the food that has not already been said.. what I really enjoy is the atmosphere. The authentic Mexican attire that surrounds the establishment is very fun to look at. The colors of the restaurant are very Aztec.. and when I heard the Mexican conversation that was coming from the kitchen it made me smile. Like as though I was back at home.. very honest place. And the flan gets ordered by the whole pie. I have ordered it several times just to bring as a dessert.. my wife and I usually eat their two to three times a month.. we bring friends.. We bring family. And some of the people just look familiar.. Oh yeah.
