Applebee's Grill + Bar

Great food but slow service? Maybe the service is slow on busier days but the food is great. Just hang tight and it'll be worth it.

The choice of appetizers at Applebee's is always good. This location is easily accessible. They had friendly staff and the layout of the restaurant is apt.

I go to this restaurant for the basketball and football games and here are my thoughts on the restaurant in general:

Upon walking in, i and always am greeted by a host/hostess or a server because greeting someone is always important esp when they walk past you. I never really had to wait for someone to sit me unless the restaurant is packed. Always am asked where i want to sit (at the bar, around the bar or in the "dining" area). The place is super clean and organized wherever you sit so it is all about preference. I sit around the bar and sometimes at the bar. Rarely in the "dining" area. Upon sitting, i usually am greeted by my waiter/waitress and a drink is often recommended (whatever the special drink is of the day/week/month/season) and sometimes whatever the special food is. Usually always order a drink first because i like to read the menu (even though i know what i want 99% of the time). The drink comes quick and the order is placed immediately after. I never had a dull server or a rude one in fact. The food is always fresh and hot/warm when i receive it. I have never had a problem with the way my food came out and i never dined with anyone who has either. The staff is often friendly and on top of your order or refills. The meals are priced accordingly but not too expensive.

Come on its Applebee's. It's a chained restaurant, I wouldn't expect much food wise. This location in particular is clean and the employee's are very welcoming. They have local high schools on the walls. I consider it a great place to watch Sunday game with friends, cheap beer and ok wings. I would recommend if you want to go out to eat wearing sweats and just chill out.
