There are many Italian restaurants in the area that are very good, much superior to the chain joints. This one, La Strada moves to the top, at least for Lasagna and maybe more.”

“More variety of the best hot sauces I've ever seen. Sandwich heaven. Her menu is so creative and healthy. It hard to find healthy fresh food on the go that tastes good, but she nails it! She gladly modified the order to meet my dietary needs. She also figured out a way to put a great sandwich into a soft taco so I could eat it during my drive. A contractors answer to the "road lunch" issue. Chocolate chip/Bacon cookie?! Going back for more, I'm hooked. I recommend you call ahead to make sure she isn't out catering a big party somewhere. Easy stop n' go on Somerset St. right before the bridge over Rt22.”

“It has been a long time since I have eaten in a special place like this. This is a place that serves delicious high-quality fresh ingredient food. They serve Boar's Head products. It is a small place that serves a large variety of breakfast and lunch foods. I was lucky to see it on Google Maps, because it doesn't have a big sign on the street. It is located on the west side of Somerset Street almost directly across from the southern entrance and exit for Route 22. They have parking in the rear of the building. I definitely recommend this place.”

“Last night hubby and I both wanted Mexican food for dinner but because my blood levels are low we couldn’t go out. Decided on delivery but no Mexican restaurants delivered. Then we found “Taco Pizza” at La Nonna’s, who delivers. It was fabulous and the customer service was impeccable!!! Will be ordering again!!”

“We were looking for an open pizza parlor on Labor Day and were delighted to find San Remo open. Unbelievably we have lived close by since San Remo opened. 6 of us including my 3 year old pizza loving grandson. We ordered a half sausage/half plain. My grandson couldn’t wait and go started right away with a slice. Everything was yummy, yummy, yummy. We devoured every bite. We had a few drinks, including a Steward’s Key Lime soda,a real treat. The bill was under $25, very reasonable. Since we were the only customers there (but few came in for take-out) and they started our pizza as soon as we came in and ordered, we were happy with service.”

TV too aloud, and some weird music playing on the background makes the environment little hostile, considerations should be taken whether to have TVs or weird music playing. The portions are big, considering the reasonable prices. It is always very clean and tidy throughout the restaurant as well as the bathroom. The fresh baked goods are nicely displayed on the counter and there are televisions provided for your sports watching pleasure. It gets crowded on weekends, but that’s great for this popular spot!”
