“Decent food, bit pricey. Think they add MSG in the dishes. Update from another visit Jan 2019. Tried the lunch buffet. The place was packed. Food options were good, BUT the buffet food trays were emptying out quickly and they were not being refilled in some cases and very slowly refilled in others. There were diners waiting to be seated, plates waiting to be picked up, the staff were running around crazy trying to keep up. They are understaffed for the weekend rush. They need to do a better job managing the crowds on weekends. Additionally having the wait staff around the buffet station instructing diners not to grab food with bare hands or bring used plates to the buffet station would make for a better dining experience.”

“We gave it a try for the first time while our daughter was at dance. We sat at the Bar as that is more comfortable for us. The food was very good. The drinks need some work. We had a Cosmo which was not even close to being correct. You need to dim the lights in the evening to do your beautiful bar justice. The seating is a little odd. Not many tables for only two people and that was our reason for sitting at the bar. I will absolutely come here though again.”

“The chef-owner and his wife are outstanding hosts. Every visit reminds us of our vacation in Italy. The food is always terrific. The atmosphere is quaint. Great for a romantic date night. Feel free to bring your favorite bottle of wine (which really helps to keep the bill low). The highlight of the night, if you are lucky enough to be there when it slows down, is the live piano music and singing.”

“Somerville's best kept secret. Food is all home cooked, never frozen. They have a full service bar, and a nice dining room with a salad bar. Everything I ever ate here was delicious. They offer the best steaks in the area at the best prices. Also have many chicken fish and pasta dishes, etc.. good dessert selection too with usually one dessert on the special menu. They don't serve too late, so get here early!”
