Pastrami House

Just got our first take order from Pastrami House, and we all loved it! And when I picked up my order everyone was so friendly. This will be one of our local faves!

Place has exceptional service, fresh food, reasonable prices and the store itself is very well taken care of and clean. Chocolate bread is a must and the new house special burger is to die for... If you're ever around this area do yourself a favor and stop by you honestly will be glad you did.

I love everything about this place. The decor and atmosphere is really great and feels like another time period. Every employee was extremely friendly and the man behind the counter helped me figure out what to get. I had a Reuben sandwich which was delicious. Reasonable prices as well. Berkeley Heights is lucky to have a place like this

One day on my lunch hour I decided to try this place out. I got the pastrami Jr sandwich that comes with a pickle and like 2 oz of coleslaw.
Though called the Jr I was definitely full after eating. I don't consider myself some expert on pastrami sandwiches but I thought it was delicious! Definitely a nice change up from your typical burger fare.
Being 10 dollars for that combo will limit how frequently I go but I'll be back.

My husband and I showed up at 710 on a Friday night to get a loaf of bread unaware the store closed at 7pm. Instead of turning us away, we were invited inside by John, one of the owners, to select our bread. He was so friendly and inviting and had a huge smile on our face. After we selected our bread, he said he had to bake it for 15 minutes. Instead of making us wait around for it, he generously offered to drop the bread off at our home in Berkeley Heights. Sure enough, about 15 minutes later, he showed up to our door with the warm bread. The bread was delicious and made an excellent sandwich. John and Pastrami House go above and beyond for their customers! We will definitely go back.
