We had my simple ceremony here and it was amazing. They were very accommodating and food was great!!
Wow! This restaurant was so good, both food and service. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs - my favorite. Meatballs and sauce were homemade and tasted great. My lunch guest ordered shrimp scampi. It looked very appetizing and my guest said it tasted amazing. We shared the sautéed spinach and garlic. It was done perfectly. Outside, you could almost drive by the restaurant and not know it's there because nondescript. Inside, hoever, is a different experience. It's very attractive with large tables, comfortable chairs and beautiful chandeliers. Chris was our waiter. He was very attentive. Our food arrived very quick - and was hot!!
Went there today with a coworker and the food was out of this world amazing. The chicken Marsala was so tender I could cut it with my fork. Very nice atmosphere and prompt service as well. Will definitely be coming back!
Best Italian food in Linden! Giovanni is a great host. We love this place for parties and small family gatherings.
The food was not bad. I’m sure this place is fine to go out to eat one night. However, if you’re planning on renting a hall for a party, forget it. I had my baby shower here. Scrolled through the reviews and read another one stating that it’s like the staff can’t wait for you to leave as soon as you get there. Couldn’t be more accurate. Our party was planned from 6-10, and by 7 30, immediately after I finished my plate of food, they were on top of us, telling me and my family that I have to open the presents, I have to do this, I have to do that. We already had a planned schedule and ended up completing all our activities well before 10 anyway so that was completely unnecessary. At 9 30, they started clearing all the tables, removing the centerpieces we had brought and placing them in the back, and turning the seats upside down. We had paid for beer and wine for four hours, and they also removed all the wine bottles from the table at this time. My boyfriend put his half full bottle of beer down for a moment, and they took it and told him he couldn’t get another. We paid for about 90+ people (including children) and while they aren’t particularly expensive (40 per person), it’s still not cheap. So in my opinion, they need to relax a bit. I’ve been to and have had parties at several other halls and never experienced anything like this. The staff seemed annoyed that we asked for 10 tables instead of 9 like they suggested, because I guess it’s a lot more work to clean one extra table. I’ll give them three stars because I heard that our friend’s kid decided to have too much wine and threw up and they had to clean it, so I feel a little bad about that. But other than that, wouldn’t recommend having a party here. You can’t even enjoy yourself for the price you pay, with them constantly on top of you and pushing you.
