It's the kind of food that's so good that your body is going to want to take a nap. It's real comfort food that, you may not have the time to make, since some dishes are quite intricate, but when you get the chance to have it, it makes you feel like you're at home, in your old neighborhood, or in that time space where you had far less worries. Also, in terms of parking, with the Flowbird app, it allows for 30 minutes free, so it makes take out easy, outside of peak hours downtown. “First, I was amazed walking into Mi Casa to see how beautiful the restaurant is! An amazing atmosphere, also felt very safe and sanitary with the clear glass separating each table. I went with a party of 6 and we were all so pleased with our meals and our experience. An appetizer that stood out was shrimp tempura. So delicious! The skirt steak for my entree was cooked perfectly, generous portion with a beautiful presentation. Creme brûlée for dessert really topped off the meal and the entire experience. Will definitely go again and I can’t wait to bring more of my friends and family! So glad I found this spot.”

“Delicious! I just found Melao this year, and regret not visiting more the last 2 years I've lived in Rahway. It's very conveniently located in the main town district - parking can be tough, so walking is best or loop around for street parking. Super friendly owners and staff members. They make ordering online, over the phone, or in person easy. If they're busy on a weekend, you may need to wait 30-40 minutes but it's worth it. Otherwise, I usually pick up within 10-15 minutes. Their teas and ice cream are all delicious.”

“Latte was good but thankfully I asked for an additional shot or else it would not have been nearly strong enough. Even though I've read that they were going to have a decent amount of vegan offerings, they only had the typical avocado toast, banana bread and random cookie available. They are also pretty expensive: my avocado toast and latte came to almost $16. They also offer a small serving of overnight oats for $5.50. I was disappointed and plan to wait a while to try again.”

“Overall I really liked this place. Drinks were yummy. I had the blue Hawaiian and the mango mojito. I also ordered the 7power ceviche. That was very good. The portion is large also. Staff are friendly. Atmosphere was very nice. This place just needs more people to come through their doors. It has a restaurant side, a bar side, and down stairs that is a lounge with a dj. The decor is very nice.... only downside is the bartenders are not attentive. They don’t walk the bar and ask if you want a refill when your glass is empty. And are only sociable if you ask them something. (To me bartenders make the place and also bring the people back to the bar). We had to get their attention every time and there was only 5 people in the bar ????.So I hope they address this. And maybe promote their bar so they get more people to fill the space. Will for sure be returning.....”
