Joe's Drive In Pizzeria

This has been rated as one of the Best Pizza in the county, so of course we need to try it for the Pizza Hunters App. You don't have a Pizza Business for 72 years and not know what you are doing. While people fight for parking spots on the street, this place has a huge parking lot. The pizza speaks to you on all 3 levels. The sauce, crust and cheese are all equally great. Everything is made fresh in the front of the Pizzeria, so you can watch the entire process. The thin slice that is prepared in a pan really sets this slice apart from others. People are very nice and passionate about Pizza..The Parlor itself has a real old school feel..great on all levels. Cant wait for some of the other Pizza Hunters to try this Pizza. Grear Job Joe's.

My family grew up in Maplewood oh, so I'm constantly hearing about Joe's Pizza throughout my childhood even though I have never lived anywhere in the Northeast. When I went to visit my family this December I had to try the amazing Joe's Pizza. The pizza is good but a bit oily. My main concern was the way the owner kept looking at my mom's chest instead of her eyes when they were talking. I found that the appalling behavior really deterred me from ever wanting to go there again. The pizza was pretty good but nothing to write home about. My mom also got Italian hot dogs, which is a recipe that she is made at home many times. However this was not the sandwich she was used to oh, we got a double which should have had two hot dogs in it however there was only one. The potatoes were thick diced chunks, instead of shaved thinly like they used to be, and most of the sandwich was bread and potatoes with just a few peppers and onions.

Have been going here for over 20 years. Love the pizza!! We always get sausage, so good. Yes the service varies. Not the place to go if you are in a hurry. Worth the trip!

The pizza has grown on me. The mozzarella sticks are great and so is the service. Owners are very good people.

Anyone giving Joe's Pizza a negative review in any way must be from either The Midwest or California. I have been eating this pizza since the Seventies in grade school and it has been consistently totally awesome, Jersey pie rocks!!!! Thanks Joe's and Angie and Buon Natale! ????????????????❤❤❤❤
