That vibe continued when we noticed the hostess put her phone down before getting up to come seat us.Sorry to disturb you, thanks for letting us come in. The sangria was delicious but our server couldn’t tell us what was in it. Food was OK, we had a Caesar salad and two pastas but given the prices, we were expecting more than OK. Comparing the cost with the quality of food and our overall experience, eh. Just eh.”

“This is a great standout food truck located at Glenn’s Auto Service parking lot on Terrill Road in Plainfield at the border of Scotch Plains. Featuring mouthwatering and flavorful cheesesteak sandwiches as well as many other food and beverage choices, the owner is well known because he was formerly at Italian Village restaurant nearby (also in Plainfield). The portions are large & filling, prices are reasonable and the service is friendly. They accept Cash and Venmo for payment. Try to get there early though because sometimes he does sell out of some choices because the food is just that good and does not disappoint your taste buds!”

“Super great find. The decor is "regular people like us" and it is small but you don't come here to take instagram pictures. The couple who work there as well as the food are the best! They made us feel at home and welcomed with friendly conversation and gave my kid a chance to pick some music while we waited for the food. With anecdotes of who made the meatballs and friendly back and forths, the wait for the food was fun. The meatball sub was delicious as well as their Cuban sandwich. We had a great time being there and will definitely return!”
