BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse

Since I moved to Albuquerque I’ve tried to eat at a new restaurant every week and this one, after 4 months, hit all three key points with me: service, food and drinks. The bistro burger was phenomenal, the coconut breeze cocktail was delicious and worth every sip and penny, and our server Alexandra was amazing! Def on my top 10 list!!!!

The turmeric cauliflower is a great option to stay on track with healthy eating while celebrating with family! The lentils and almonds make it feel hardy and the cilantro is refreshing.

So the service was great. The Root Beer Ribs with spicy sriracha slaw, not so great. The ribs were tender, a touch sweet which I guess I should have suspected because of the name, and sticky, but no wet naps. The slaw was dry, dry, dry, and while the bit of dressing that I found was spicy, it was too dry. I was told that I could substitute the slaw the next time, which I would because it's a nice size appetizer for two people.
