Fabulous New Mexican cuisine. Be sure to explore the restaurant after eating and enjoy the beautiful decor. Best meal we've ever had with our dog traveling with us. Enjoy the fresh food and especially the guacamole. Flora is a darling waitress and very enthusiastic about El Pinto. She made our experience even better.

After 2 1/2 months of isolation my wife and I ventured to El Pinto this afternoon. We were excited and looking forward to eating out on the patio area. We ordered but my wife's meal came first because the cook did not read what my order was. Her meal lacked "presentation" so she had to order more chile and cheese. My meal arrived after she had finished hers. Mark, one of the manager's, approached us and asked how our experience was going. We communicated to him about the lack luster presentation and the delayed meal. He said that he would make "things right" to which he did and we are most appreciative. Aubrey, our waitress was a delight and very personable, also wanting to make things right for us. The experience was made much better due to these two employees who I would say are quite an asset to El Pinto!

This restaurant is more "hype" than anything else. It's a fun trip outside of Albuquerque. Like any tourist, I purchased a jar of the green chili salsa to go. The food was good, better than average Latino fare found in the midwest. The ambiance made the evening special. The story of the hatch chilies grown in the area, making the restaurant famous, as well as the entertainment made the overall experience a fun outing for all.

I come to New Mexico twice a year, and whenever I do, I go here. First, the food. The salmon is the best I've had here, and the steak is amazing. Second, the interior. Amazing decorations. And last, the staff. All the waiters have been kind, and have made a note about my cousins dairy allergy. Last time I was there, the manager came to our table and told us he really cares about preventing allergies. 10/10

My wife and I went here to celebrate Valentine's day. The hosts seated us quickly and was very polite. The food came out quite quickly and was very delicious. I will say that it seems like their prices have gone up lately and the portion size is seemed a little smaller. Maybe that's for the best since everyone is trying to watch their waist lines nowadays. If you're visiting Albuquerque this is definitely a must stop. It is a bit of a cultural institution and you wouldn't want to miss out on it.
