Il Vicino Wood Oven Pizza - Nob Hill

Busy place because people love it. The guy begins is in line was there just for their “homemade” rootbeer. Not, they will not take your order until there is a place for your party to be seated.
We chose this place because of the fantastic reviews of their pizza (which were all true). They also have other Italian items on the menu including many salads. I may try some on my next trip here.
Also, bring kid friendly-they bring out some of their dough for the little ones—to help keep them busy and in a good mood—excellent idea—-worked to perfection.

My kids and I love the pizza and salads here. But everything on the menu is pretty much always delicious. If you ask for it they will even give your kids a small ball of pizza dough and flower in a plate to play with until your good arrives. A little messy but kids love to play with gooey, sticky stuff. All in all great food, nice atmosphere and good family fun!

I love the salads here. Plus you can get a personal pizza and any salad and a soft drink for under $10. It's a great deal. This is the original Il Vicino and after many years it's still good and the interior is up to date. The service is also good.

I'm a pretty harsh critic when it comes to pizza, but Il Vicino is most definitely worthy of 5 stars. Pizza was perfect. Their special, spicy oil was a great addition. And the service was great. My clumsy buddy spilt his beer and they quickly cleaned it up and gave him another one for free. Top notch.

Fresh Wood Oven Pizza for a Decent Price! One of the best places for lunch or dinner. Amazing Tea! Helpful Staff and Hardworking Chefs. They serve Beer and Wine. Very Clean Restrooms. Nice place for groups and couples to eat. They have take out if you need to order to go! They also have nice photos of Italy hanging on the walls.
