Don't let the narrow non-restaurant entry appearance fool you. This place is spectacular. Made-to-order delicious food that is anything but ordinary. The owner served us and he was as wonderful as the food.

This place has the best chicken curry I ever had. The owner is incredible nice and the service is immaculate. I highly recommend this place and I will be going back!

Stumbled upon this place, and almost didn't stay. So. glad. I. did. This was the best food I've EVER had. Options for everyone, and simply delicious, flavorful food. Amazing!!!!! I don't usually do reviews, but got on here just to give The Safari Grill 5 stars, because they deserve it!! I will definitely be back!!

Delicious food prepared with amazing sauces which have a nice flavor profile including a good level of spice without overwhelming any of the flavors. Everything was tender and perfect - nothing dry, overcooked, or under done.

There are plenty of menu items that should appeal to those less interested in the more exotic flavors, but we stuck with those since that seemed most appealing to us.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Will definitely return to enjoy it again.

Hopefully next time they will have the traditional samosas and chicken tikka so that we can try those too.

Something totally original in Nob Hill. Chef Bill is serving up a very savory fusion of African, Indian and New Mexican flavors. I just had the Indian Style Fish & Chips and Southwest Samosas for lunch. Totally worth coming back for and located right on the Southeast corner of the UNM campus.
