I could eat here every day. Small Indian grocery store, family owned and full of family love and care. Hot buffet available with wonderful choices, also menu items available as well if you prefer not to eat off the buffet. Seriously, best Indian food in ABQ!

I have to admit that I am spoiled. I have lived and traveled to cities with large East Indian populations and great Indian restaurants. I usually avoid buffets like the plague but it was a small place and I was there during lunch so I gave it a try. The food was just so-so. I had to really look for the meat in the dishes with sauce. The vegetable dishes tasted bland, however the Chicken Tandoori was dry but tasty.

The grocery section was small but their prices were good, just not near enough variety. I love Indian spices but their selection was much smaller than I was used to. Same thing with the rice. However, for a city the size of Albuquerque maybe it's not too bad.

One thing that I need to mention is the sink in the Men's bathroom. It was the craziest thing that I have ever seen. There is no sink, just a granite-like slab that the water runs onto. It doesn't look like it has anywhere to go but there is a hidden seam that it drains into. Maybe it's a popular thing but I have never seen it before. I added an extra point just for that.
