Burrito Banquet

This place is a must stop!! We stayed and Angel Fire and had a few people tell us about Burrito Banquet. It was a beautiful drive and the Totale burrito with green chile and lemonade were both AMAZING!!! Kathleen is an amazing person and her energy is contagious! Be sure to give Tippy the dog a few pats on the head too!

Kathleen’s Burrito Banquet is everything a spectacular local place should be. First, the food is outstanding! Homemade everything, including tortillas that are so darn good! And equally as important is the dedication of owner Kathleen, who does absolutely an over-the-top job with ensuring everyone has a great experience. She clearly cares so much about her customers, her town, and the quality of her restaurant, including creating a space that is fun, comfortable and encourages diners to get to know one another. Thank you, Kathleen!!

The burritos were great! Enjoyed talking to our host, Kathleen, and really enjoyed watching the deer come right up so close to the restaurant. This will be a fan favorite and we hope to visit again.

Driving by on our way back home from Angelfire, NM. Sasquatch and Big bear caught my eye. I said Burritos and my hubby did a 180. Service was amazing. Super friendly. Super fast. The food was amazing! We bought two green/one red burrito and one choco waffle. Didn’t realize they were cash only and the nice lady said she would buy our breakfast this morning. Super generous, but we got some cash and came back to pay. A must stop and try!

Drive through town and decided to try this place. Food was very good. Our group ordered burritos, chili and chips. Salsa was pretty hot and was very good. Lemonade was also good. If you can ring the big silver ball in the back she buys your lemonade.
The service was nice and friendly. Different type of atmosphere. It’s more like a taco truck and you can take it to go or eat on some picnic tables. No bathrooms so don’t plan on that. Definitely recommend.
