Caliche's Frozen Custard

I am visiting from out of town and my sister insisted we're go to her favorite frozen custard place. I was not disappointed. Delicious!
The service was super fast and the staff is amazing.

I don't go often but when I do the service is consistently perfect in every way. I don't know if it's because they're lucky to get good help or if they have hiring standards.

This is one of the most unique frozen Custard places I've ever been. I got the green chilie custard called the "New Mexican". It was sweet and spicy and really have my taste buds a ride. Enjoyed the flavors and freshness. If you go, try the mango dango as well. You will not be disappointed.

As a visitor from California, I was happy to try new experiences and locations while on my travels. This time, it was a little place in New Mexico which has made an impact on me.

Upon arriving at Caliche's, I discovered the facility to be a drive-in type, similar to a sonic or wienersnitchel. The atmosphere is classic themed, reminding me of days long gone. A time of simplicity, aesthetics, and a quality atmosphere that we all enjoy. Where families, sweethearts, and children gathered. A community and a relationship with the establishment.

Or more simply put, classy and homelike. A 50's vibe so to say.

I tried the very berry sundae. The custard, mixed in with the blueberry, raspberry, and strawberry made for an excellent taste both sweet and smooth. The texture, creamy but the aftermath of my dessert, was filling. I was very content with the serving portion, just right for that small space of room after dinner, hitting the spot.

The customer service was top notch. I was happy to see friendly faces because as a first timer, I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. I enjoyed the amount of concern and care of the staff tonight. You don't see that often about food, especially a custard place. They kept asking if it was good and if I enjoyed my sundae.

You see, in the line of reviewers, and critics, it is our job to provide a clear and honest review about any establishment. Our fuel, the amount of detail we put into every aspect of the review, sometimes good, and sometimes...unfortunate. The path of our decisions can drive growth or drive decline all based of an experience. In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We review and critique the work of individuals, picking apart the very soul of their craft. We analyze and use that to base worth or uselessness. It's an art, one that can be perfected or forgotten. The world itself will determine that if you let it. Not everyone can have talent but talent can come from anywhere.
