Burger King

Address: 2320 N Grimes St, Hobbs, NM 88240, USA

Restaurant

“Rating: ★★★☆☆ Review: Burger King, a popular fast-food chain, offers a mixed experience that combines both positives and negatives. Here's my mixed review of Burger King: Burger Quality: ★★★☆☆ Burger King's burgers have a distinct flame-grilled flavor that sets them apart from other fast-food chains. While some may appreciate this unique taste, others might find it overpowering or artificial. The quality of the burgers can be inconsistent, with occasional dry or overcooked patties. However, Burger King does offer a variety of options, including different toppings and sauces, allowing customers to customize their burgers to their liking. Menu Variety: ★★★★☆ Burger King has a diverse menu that goes beyond traditional burgers. They offer chicken sandwiches, fish sandwiches, salads, and vegetarian options like the Impossible Whopper. The variety ensures that there are choices for different tastes and dietary preferences. Additionally, Burger King often introduces limited-time promotional items, adding excitement and novelty to their menu offerings. Value for Money: ★★★★☆ Burger King generally provides good value for money. The combo meals offer a filling meal at a reasonable price, and the portion sizes are often generous. They also offer ongoing deals and discounts, making their offerings more affordable. While some premium items may be priced higher, the value for money is usually satisfactory for those seeking a quick and budget-friendly meal. Fast Food Experience: ★★★☆☆ Burger King typically delivers on the fast-food experience, with quick service and convenient drive-thru options. However, the speed and efficiency can vary depending on the specific location and time of day. During peak hours, there may be longer wait times or occasional errors in order accuracy. It's advisable to check orders before leaving the drive-thru or dining area to ensure accuracy. Cleanliness and Atmosphere: ★★★☆☆ The cleanliness and atmosphere of Burger King can be hit or miss. While some locations maintain a clean and inviting environment, others may fall short in terms of cleanliness and overall ambiance. The seating areas may not always be well-maintained, and the cleanliness standards may differ between locations. However, the chain has made efforts to update their restaurant designs and create a more modern and comfortable dining experience in some locations. Sustainability and Health Initiatives: ★★☆☆☆ Burger King's efforts in terms of sustainability and health initiatives have been somewhat limited compared to other fast-food chains. While they have made progress in areas like cage-free eggs and removing artificial colors and flavors from some menu items, there is room for improvement in terms of promoting healthier choices and addressing environmental concerns. In conclusion, Burger King offers a mixed fast-food experience with some positives and negatives. While the distinct flame-grilled taste and menu variety can be appealing, inconsistencies in burger quality and occasional lapses in service accuracy may detract from the overall experience. However, Burger King's value for money and convenience factors, along with ongoing promotional offers, make it a viable choice for those seeking a quick and satisfying fast-food meal. Note: Please remember that this review is based on my personal experience and preferences, and your experience at Burger King may vary.”

Empire Buffet

Address: 2404 N Grimes St # 1, Hobbs, NM 88240, USA

Restaurant

“I had stolen food from here once a while back when I was an addict, and homeless in 2019. I don't recommend anyone else try it at all because they don't deserve stuff like that. They since then have not treated me differently, Sharing that everyone has a past and "you're doing better now, that's all that matters". I appreciate establishments like this. They instill hope in others, speaking from my experience. If you can do better, then do better is the message I got. They resemble water, and that's a great resource when you put it in context with a desert. Peace be with you guys!”

Church's Texas Chicken

Address: 1005 Joe Harvey Blvd, Hobbs, NM 88240, USA

“First the bad. Service was slow. It took a few minutes for someone to acknowledge me at the counter and they weren't busy. Finding a clean table was a challenge. The children was perfectly cooked. And the sweet tea was amazing. I love sweet tea and this was tops on my list for flavor and lack of grit. I gave a good review because the food and drink out weighed the negative by that much.”

Saturday's Grill & Ice Cream

Address: 312 W Bender Blvd, Hobbs, NM 88240, USA

Restaurant

“The food was delicious and fresh. Our waitress could use a class on customer service though. She wasn't rude but she definitely wasn't friendly either. She had the hurry up and go attitude the entire time we were there. She took our orders and brought our food and never came back. We ended up just walking to the front to order our dessert to go. She made it an unpleasant experience. Next time, if i decide to go back I will order to go only. Good food, restaurant could use a major update and a good cleaning.”

Sushiko

Address: 419 W Marland Blvd, Hobbs, NM 88240, USA

Restaurant

“I have just visited Sushiko by accident when I was on the way back to Texas from the White Sand National Park. The food truck made a cozy atmosphere with the outdoor light and it made me feel warm in a cool night of December. This restaurant provided dishes that mix between Japanese food and Mexican taste (I personally think that) so they have avocado and cream cheese in almost all of their dishes. This is the first time I try these kinds of food so I make me fell weird but special and delicious. My friends and I tried 4 different dishes of the menu: - The Sushibom special which is a deep fried ball of rice with many stuffs (chicken, beef, shrimp, etc) go together with shredded carrot and some kind of salad (a little bit like coleslaw). I really love the crunchy of the fried rice. - The Pacific roll has the same taste with the Sushibom, just be prepared in a different way. I feel the roll is more portable if you need something to eat while traveling. - The Yakimeshi is just fried rice but it delicious. They put avocado and cream cheese on top of the rice and it make me feel weird, but I still like it. - The I choose the pepper lime flavour for the boneless wing and I love it. The source is not too sour or spicy or sweet. It is enough to boost the taste and the crunchy of the wings. I also tried the Teriyaki source but it is kind of sweet to me so I still recommended the pepper lime.”

She walked us threw the menu because we had no idea what to order. We ended up ordering a Boil and Charbroiled Oysters, and let me just say the food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! I was so impressed with the whole experience I can’t wait to go back.”
