We had a nice leisurely lunch while visiting Los Alamos. Everything was so tasty and the patio was the perfect place to rest and enjoy a meal.
We were seated in a dark corner which was kind of off putting but otherwise the food was of good proportions and cooked well. The enchiladas were delicious :) the Reuben was a little too salty for my taste but the coleslaw was tasty. Come here and support a local business :)
A lovely little cafe with very friendly service and pretty good food. I had the blue corn enchiladas and wished the sauce had been a bit more flavorful. My partner loved the salmon tacos with citrus-habanero sauce. The pinto beans were delicious, as was the artichoke dip appetizer and the limoncello cake. Definitely a great spot to stop for lunch.
Decent place, but left some to be desired. French onion soup is one of the best we’ve had. The wellington bites were okay at best, nothing to write home about. The egg rolls were a bit heavy on the beans, but enjoyable. The crab stack was not the best, being mostly soggy from the amount of toppings. The vegetables with the salmon are steamed, so it lacks any real flavor. The steak was good and the seafood pasta was ok. Service was good, with a great knowledge of the items on the menu and quick with refills.
Hands down the best dining experience! I called to get a fast reservation for 5 on the patio. Maria was fantastic and said she’s get our table ready as we walked over from the Manhattan Project. Maria seated us on the patio. The setting was quaint. Our daughter has a Gluten allergy. There is a possibility of cross contamination, but she was able to find an option on the menu that was GF. Missy our server was great. The food was fantastic. Save room for dessert! The indoor portion of the restaurant was nicely spaced to provide diners with space. Don’t miss out on this gem if you are in Los Alamos!
