Really nice customer service. But my chocolate croissant was extremely underwhelming. Crusty on the outside but no layers inside and kinda undercooked. The peach tart had a really yummy crust.
Such a nice, welcoming cafe. One of the baristas (blue hair, fun haircut) puts foam art on some drinks and I think that's super cool. The almond croissant is my favorite pastry they have, but it's been my favorite since Pig & Fig opened.
(I am the aforementioned blue haired barista. I hope you guys like my foam art
Sugar and Cream is relatively new at time of review. Given Starbucks used to occupy the space, it's already associated with coffee and conversation. Their setup is nice and laid back. The bright space and wooden tables set a light mood when you walk in. They do a good job with the coffee. I like that their espressos seem to use a lighter roast than I am used to. Their pastries are the true stand out, though. They knocked the croissant out of the park for me, and I am excited to try all the other offerings over time. Their staff is friendly and are doing a good job at ramping up. I look forward to when they hit their full stride.
Very comfy place to have some coffee and a snack. There was a decent amount of gluten free pastries incuding lemon pound cake muffins and blueberry muffins. They also have macrons ehich are gluten free. I especially like the Chai that they make!
