Their service is excellent and the food is wonderful I definitely recommend coming here if you're just visiting the Los Alamos area or are a local to this area. The chicken fried steak I got is great, I had asked for it with red chili and I think they did an excellent job with the chicken fried steak and eggs. Awesome place.

This is our 3rd visit. The first time, we got there 30 minutes before they closed and they had no food options available. The last two times their website said they were open, but there was signage stating they were closed due to staffing issues.
I don't want to ding this small business with a 1-star review, since I have not been able to even try the food, but I also won't give them 5-star for the same reason. I went with 3 as a neutral so that I could tip others to call first and have an alternate plan in place.

Great breakfast for a reasonable price
Chicken fried steak, eggs, potatoes, side of bacon and a large drink for under $20

I am currently in town visiting family and decided I’d try some of the restaurants here. I stumbled across Morning Glory and figured I’d give it a try. I’d like to begin by accommodating the staff on their patience, kindness, and overall wonderful service. I had come in while a woman was essentially attacking one of the staff. The poor girl looked incredibly startled, but she handled the situation with grace. She remained calm and polite even when this woman was yelling at her and calling her names. If I were in her position I would not have been able to remain calm. Kudos to her! Aside from the incredible customer service, the food was okay. It wasn’t the best, the burrito was quite small and there was hardly any bacon in it. The chili was mediocre at best, flavorless and the texture was just off. But, the donuts were fantastic. I will definitely be coming back for those on my way out of town.

Overall I’d say that Morning Glory had the best staff in town, at least from my experience. The girls that work the front are so incredibly kind and accommodating. I sure hope they get the praise they deserve! The food on the other hand leaves something to be desired. I wish I had all good things to say, but just like people everything has it’s faults.

I really loved this place while in Los Alamos for a research workshop. The food was always great and the coffee always hot. I got to know the regular employees fairly well, all of them very nice and friendly.

As for food, I recommend the Hilltopper burrito with green chile. It’s a big, spicy, hunger satiating burrito and boy is it delicious!

They also had a giant donut one of my friends ended up buying (picture provided). It was stellar.
