Café Castro

What a great gem! Not only is the food good, but the people are incredibly nice. I’m not from the area and was served by a young man name Josey, who was very patient with me and helped me choose a dish that was very New Mexico. I’d definitely go back if I ever visit the area again as it’s very nice to go to a place that’s filled with kind people.

Have heard about Castros from family. Walked in and was seated quickly for being busy. Service was great! Food was authentic New Mexican. Flavors meshed very well with each other. Plates looked well and tea was brewed correctly. Even had Limes which is my personal taste with my tea. Thank you for the great family experience Cafe Castro!

We came here last Friday night for dinner. We were sat right away and got our drinks and food ordered. I ordered the Carne Adovada burrito with red chile. The burrito comes with the meat and beans inside. No rice served with the burrito plate so we had to order that separate. A sopapilla is served with each order. Super good food. Will be back again when we are in town.

We Went with Family To Santa Fe To Cafe Castros and there was 22 of us,and the Service Was Great. All of Us Absolutely LOVED Our Food,It Was Totally Extraordinary Very Very Delicious, We Loved Both The Green And Red Chile!! CASTROS Totally Has The BEST SPANISH FOOD IN THIS WHOLE STATE NO KIDDING AROUND!! And the Prices are Very Reasonable Too, If Your On Vacation IN Santa Fe Remember DON'T FORGET TO GO TO ( CAFE CASTRO ) YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!!🍽👍❤️❤️❤️❤️🌶🌶🌶🎂🌮🌯🍻🍹🥩🏆😉 AND CAFE CASTRO IS NUMBER 1 WITH ALL OF US!!

We came here because it's my parents favorite in town. And you really can NOT go wrong. I had the Mexican steak with green chile, so delicious. We also had these other dishes, tamales and fajitas. And of course you can't forget the delicious sopapillas. The staff are all so kind and helpful. We left full and happy. And we will be back.
