Cafe Des Artistes

The gelato was great! And the pastries were good! I recommend the sea salt caramel gelato! The service was quick but the attendants were a bit distracted! My friends and I enjoyed the aesthetic! Would come back!

On the plus side: I love the aesthetic and look of their patio and interior very clean and cozy, super inviting. The menu is extensive for being such a small space lots of options.
Could improve: I ordered the combo which is like the charcuterie but with a couple extras, wishing there was crackers or bread or something and not just cheese and meat on the plate. The pâté was missing and it was $20, pretty expensive for some fig jelly cheese and nuts. Also the walnuts are stale sadly, which is common whenever I order something with nuts around town :( check your nuts before serving … one of my cheese slices was rind not actual cheese. :(
The customer service was pretty sad, no smiles, pretty cold, I asked a question about the menu and the girl said “read the menu I don’t know”.
I love supporting local business but I probably won’t got back unless I know it will be better the next time I go. I feel 3 stars review is pretty generous.

Wonderful place to grab a light bite and with some very good coffee options. Had a salmon salad and some quiche, both very good! Met the owner who is French. Wonderful person! He also has some extraordinary original art inside the cafe. One artist in particular is extraordinary and this cafe is the only location in the US you can see his work (Maurice Douard).

Enjoyed a deliciously smooth Oat milk-Matcha latte, with a couple of warm beignets. And my puppy enjoyed herself too! Dog friendly is always a plus!

Enjoyed a delicious cheese plate with a variety of cheeses from France- topped with peppers from Basque Spain, and washed it all down with a delicious lavender Matcha- latte; while admiring the beautiful Christmas decor. This cafe is class all the way!
